Ventilation is needed in buildings to maintain good indoor air quality, or in other words to keep indoor air pollution down to acceptable levels. Ventilation can be provided me natural or mechanical means, or a combination of the two – known as mixed-mode ventilation.
This introductory webinar explains the basics of ventilation in buildings, covering supply and extract ventilation, re-circulation, heat recovery and demand-controlled ventilation. Regulatory requirements for ventilation will be outlined. Delegates will need access to a calculator, as a short calculation exercise will be included.
