Course Description: Inventor Sheet Metal Design introduces the concepts and techniques of sheet metal modelling with Autodesk Inventor. The structure of the course follows the typical stages of using Inventor. That is, to create sheet metal parts, edit them, generate flat patterns, and document the designs in drawings.
Course Objectives: This course aims to explore all aspects of the very powerful Sheet Metal design technology built into AutoCAD Inventor as standard. A comprehensive look at all aspects of the functionality starting with the creation and set up sheet metal styles to automate the process of setting bend and unfolding conditions and continuing right through the sheet metal design process to the final output and documenting of the developed flat pattern.
