Cardoe Martin Limited is an independent multi-disciplined practice providing Building Surveying and Property Consultancy services to corporate, institutional and individual clients.

The practice is wholly owned by its Directors and staff who share the belief that excellence in service is the key to creating a successful business. Our role as Chartered Building Surveyors involves the care of all types of property within the built environment and our success as a practice is based upon our ability to perform this role for a broad range of property owners and occupiers.

Building Surveying

Cardoe Martin undertake building surveys of all types of office, warehouse, retail and industrial property on behalf of tenants, owner occupiers and investment companies throughout the UK. We are also able to arrange inspections of services installations, environmental audits and provide cost advice upon items of disrepair. Experience and client feedback has shown that a building survey for an intending property owner or occupier can avoid costly repair bills and the disruption which such defects can cause upon occupation and allow the re-negotiation of heads of terms prior to purchase or entering into a Lease.

The survey may also highlight the presence of hazardous materials, defective workmanship, design defects and non compliance with relevant legislation which could endanger building occupiers and owners and adversely affect investment values and saleability.

Party Wall Matters

Cardoe Martin act as Party Wall Surveyors for building owners affected by works and requiring notice and consent under The Party Wall etc. Act 1996. We serve and receive notices, agree Party Wall Awards, Schedules of Condition and ensure that the works proceed in accordance with the documentation and that any subsequent damage is rectified by the parties responsible.
