Apollo Insulation Limited
Apollo Insulation’s range of reflective foils are solutions to meet the increasingly stringent thermal insulation performance requirements for buildings.
The more radiant energy is reflected the less heat is transferred, our foil membranes reflect more than 95% of radiated heat. It is essential that insulation has a good thermal performance in summer and winter. When using Apollo’s Heat Reflecting Membranes other qualities such increased living space, durability, and ease of installation are also achieved.
Apollo’s reflective membranes
Apollo Insulation’s range of reflective foils are solutions to meet the increasingly stringent thermal insulation performance requirements for buildings.
Highly Reflective, and Low Emmistivity, our foils have British Board of Agrément approval and have been designed and tested to last the lifetime of a house or structure…. in the UK that is 60 years. Whether in roofs, walls, under floors or on HVAC ducts, correctly installed Apollo’s membranes have been tested and proven to enhance u-values and provide significant lifelong thermal insulation benefits.
Our patented technology ensures that 96.1% of infrared energy striking the bright, tarnish resistant surfaces is blocked. As a result buildings are kept cooler in hot climates and warmer in cold climates. Correctly installed the systems offered will control heat convection, eliminate air leakage and infiltration.
They are simple to install, and are easily molded around door or window frames and will not spring back. The products function as excellent vapour barriers, keeping other insulation dry thus maintaining its performance. Acting as air barriers, preventing air leakage and infiltration through the building’s envelope, ensures help to reduce energy bills.
Reflective foils as solutions
Whether building your dream home, an extension, a new housing estate or new warehousing, Thermo-Foil ES and Eco-Brite are specifically developed to enhance the U-value of ceiling, wall and floor insulation.
In combination with fibre insulation, they can provide the most cost-efficient insulating method to meets the requirements of current Building Regulations.
Both membranes have BBA Approval and have been designed and tested to last the lifetime of a house or structure, in the UK that is 60 years.
Our products can also be used to restrict the ingress of landfill gases and airborne radon into a building and is rodent-resistant making it suitable for use in agricultural buildings.
Ducting
Insulating ductwork to help conserve energy has long been an important aspect of energy-efficient-building services design.
Duct work air leakage also impacts on energy use and carbon-emissions. Our ducting products, EncaSeal and EncaClad will seal existing insulation; ensuring air leakage is kept to a minimum. They will block at least 96% of infrared energy that would otherwise be absorbed by the soft insulation.
In a short period of time this energy will break down the surface of most foam insulation, shortening its life and increasing dust levels to unacceptable levels. Encasing with Apollo’s insulation will ensure moisture and heat will not penetrate the ducting.
