BSW Parkwood are an established firm of Consulting Civil and Structural Engineers based in Exeter. We work on a wide range of civil and structural projects throughout the UK. Projects include new build and refurbishment and cover many sectors including education, residential, leisure, health, energy, retail, commercial, industrial and food. We are also experts in heritage work and have worked on a number of sensitive projects across the South West.
We were founded in 1991 and have established a reputation for going that extra mile in meeting our client’s expectations. In June 2015, we became part of the Parkwood group of companies which, in addition to our civil and structural engineering capability, provides project management, facilities management, planning, landscape architecture, environmental and quality management solutions throughout the UK.
BSW Parkwood has developed a broad client base handling multi-million pound projects. The company’s client list includes private individuals and developers, Health Trusts, Local Authorities, global industry, educational and leisure establishments, national organisations and contractors. We are committed to contributing to the achievement of sustainable projects for the benefit of future generations.
Our Directors and Associates have extensive experience of a wide range of structural and civil engineering projects which has been acquired over many years. Our philosophy is to utilise the experience of our Directors and Associates to the best advantage of the project, the client, and the business. BSW Parkwood has a strong commitment to training and professional development and our staff are active in a number of professional organisations.
As well as broad based structural and civil design services we provide supporting services such as structural inspections & investigation, contract administration, Principal Designer (CDM Regulations 2015) services, insurance inspections, expert witness and feasibility studies and safety audits and flood risk assessments.
