BIM and AutoDesk Revit
The Government committed itself to requiring a minimum of BIM Level 2 on all projects by the end of 2016. Our academic team responded to this commitment by creating a series of short courses that will improve your critical understanding of BIM and how collaborative design models are generated. Civil and structural engineering
You’ll have access to our excellent resources for structural testing, materials science, soil mechanics and building engineering services. We have concrete and hydraulics laboratories, and a well-equipped surveying equipment store.
Construction management
Designed in consultation with the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), the Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB) and employers, these courses provide you with the skills relating to construction, culture and business environment.
Property management
These course focuses on investment, development valuation, and agency and property management. You’ll can also gain insights into the UK legal and planning system, particularly relevant for those working for national organisations, real estate consultancies and private practices.
With excellent laboratories and resources offering the latest software and equipment, you’ll get the hands- on experience you need for working in industry.
