Rother & Hastings Building Control

Welcome to the Rother & Hastings Building Control Partnership

This is a joint service between the two councils Rother District Council and Hastings Borough Council. Since September 2011 the partnership has gained high recognition for successfully sharing resources to provide a Building Control service which offers expertise, flexibility and professionalism in the implementation of the Building Regulations.

We provide a plan checking and site inspection service for new developments, extensions, changes of use as well as for a variety of other building projects throughout the Rother and Hastings areas.

Based at Bexhill Town Hall, the service has enjoyed great success and continues to offer an excellent service in both areas. Our team of surveyors with their local experience and specialist knowledge continue to work together providing a modern efficient service.

Building Control site surveyors are usually available at Bexhill Town Hall Monday to Friday before 10am or the Building Control Office can be contacted during the day on 01424 787680 or by e-mail: buildingcontrol@rother.gov.uk
