Fire Consultants & Fire Risk Assessors Service Framework
The LHC Fire Safety framework will take into account the conclusions of the Hackett & Knight reports and Paul Stollard’s Scottish Consultation document and interim guidance that followed the Grenfell fire to provide a comprehensive range of fire safety procurement solutions.
It will comprise a suite of specialist fire safety services to existing domestic and non-domestic buildings, and will be split into the following workstreams:
- FS1-C: Fire Consultants – including Fire Risk Assessments
- FS1-P: Passive Fire Protection – including compartmentalisation and fire doors maintenance or replacement
Separate Contract Notices will be published weeks apart.
The first framework Fire Consultants and Fire Risk Assessors (FS1-C), is now available, with a view to launching remaining workstreams in Q4 2019.
FS1-C will assist Clients in their fire safety strategy and principle designs responsibilities to their existing buildings, and surrounding areas, the management of these including refurbishment works and construction projects.
FS1-P will assist our partners in managing their
buildings and environments as occupiers or landlords in the provision of life safety, property, environmental and asset protection.
The selected Suppliers (Appointed Companies) are appointed due to their experience in undertaking the specific task (Workstream), to public sector buildings ranging from general housing to more complex multi-tenanted residential and/or non-residential properties.
All Contract Notices will be published across all OJEU journals. The tender documents will then be available through the LHC portal hosted by ProContract.
Our Fire Safety guide has been released, consisting of FS1-C and FS1-P combined together in one procurement guide.
