BAM appointed to fit interiors of St James Quarter’s W Edinburgh

BAM has been appointed by Nuveen Real Estate to fit out the interiors of 244 guest rooms at the 12 storey W Edinburgh, St James Quarter’s

W Edinburgh will offer 244 guestrooms, including 42 suites and one Extreme Wow Suite. The rooftop will feature a SUSHISAMBA restaurant as well as an outdoor terrace.

The plans also include a W Lounge, a signature restaurant, a W Sound Suite (the brand’s take on a writer’s room and music studio), FIT® and an AWAY® Spa.

Guests will be treated to the iconic Whatever/Whenever® service philosophy that promises whatever guests want, whenever they want it.

A striking exterior façade crafted from bronze-coloured steel

Designed by Jestico + Whiles, in conjunction with Allan Murray Architects, the W Edinburgh features a striking exterior façade crafted from a winding bronze-coloured steel ‘ribbon’.

Keppie Design has also been appointed as delivery architect to integrate its design solutions and assist with full 3D co-ordination of the design.

The 1.7 million sq ft  development is due for completion in late 2023.
