Morrison Energy Services has been awarded a place on the EV charging framework to support a major roll-out in the North of England
The framework agreement with Be.EV, an electric vehicle (EV) charging provider, will help deliver more than 1,000 chargers and four big charging hubs across the North of England.
The agreement covers:
- the installation of EV charge points,
- site surveys and feasibility studies
- civils and electrical design,
- electrical infrastructure installations
50% reduction in carbon by 2030
As an M Group Services operating business, Morrison Energy Services is committed to working towards a 50% reduction in carbon by 2030. The installation of EV infrastructure is a fundamental element of this.
Electric ‘core’ fleet by 2030
M Group Services recently joined the EV100. Its entire ‘core’ fleet will be transitioning to electric by 2030, alongside installing charging points at key locations across the UK. Morrison Energy Services will be at the forefront of this transition.

Preparing for the next-phase network expansion of 1,000 charger installations

Be.EV operates the biggest public charging network in Greater Manchester, working with Transport for Greater Manchester, local authorities, public sector organisations and private businesses to build regional networks of public chargers that are accessible to all.
