Developer Meridian Construction Services chose Paramount Timber for their high-specification, 40-unit development in Sheppey Court, Sheerness
The Sheppey Court project was brought to the market in 2022 and saw the renovation of an existing Grade II Listed Building and 33 new build 1, 2, and 3-bed units.
Opting for timber frame reduced the overall build time of the project
Opting for timber frame, Meridian significantly reduced the overall build time of this project. Due to the off-site manufacture of the timber frame, keeping to schedule was much more achievable as the team were not put back by bad weather or unforeseen circumstances that often appear on-site.
As a result, the project team noted making considerable savings in their build across the entirety of the project.
The development progressed drastically using modern methods of construction
Following a successful partnership in the construction of Sheppey Court, the Paramount Timber Frame team were awarded a subsequent project with Meridian Construction Services: “Opting for timber frame eased site management from a quality control perspective.
