The Beattie Passive recruitment drive has made its latest appointment with Trevor Barnett, who has been made Sales Manager for the north of the UK

The Beattie Passive recruitment drive has bolstered the sales team with three new hires since June.

Trevor Barnett, previously of Chesterfield Borough Council, was appointed as Sales Manager for the north of the UK and has been tasked with driving sales in the region, particularly among social housing providers.

Trevor joins Neil Webley, who was appointed Sales Executive for the southwest of the country in July, and Evette Prout, who was hired in June to manage London and the eastern counties.

Trevor is particularly excited to continue to develop social housing

Trevor said: “I’m passionate about finding solutions to the UK’s housing crisis, particularly in relation to social housing, and that has been the main focus of my professional studies over the course of my career.

“The first thing that stood out to me about Beattie Passive was Ron Beattie’s passion and determination to make a difference. I jumped at the opportunity when I saw that Beattie Passive was recruiting.

“I want to be a trusted Passivhaus provider and I’ll be working with honesty, passion and integrity to add value and exceed the expectations of my clients. I’m really excited to have joined Beattie Passive and I’m looking forward to contributing towards the growth and expansion of the company and making a real difference to communities.”

Beattie Passive has also strengthened its senior executive and marketing teams in recent months

In addition to announcing three new appointments on the sales side of the business, Modular industry veteran Jack Randall stepped into the newly created role of Chief Commercial Officer in May, and Drew Barker was hired to head up the marketing department in March.

Commenting on the new appointments, Ron Beattie, founder and managing director of the Norwich-based Passivhaus specialist, said: “It’s our mission to increase awareness of the benefits of Passivhaus and make it more accessible to more people, from self-builders right through to social housing providers.

“We’ve been committed to Passivhaus from the start because the energy efficiency and environmental benefits are so compelling. Passivhaus can cut the nation’s energy bills, put an end to fuel poverty, improve our energy security, and pave the way to Net Zero. With all these advantages, why would anyone choose to build any other way?“
