Anthony Mulraney has been appointed as director of the Hive Group‘s new Oxford office, specialising in education, heritage and commercial projects
Anthony Mulraney is the latest name to join Hive Group’s team. The company has established a new Oxford office to deliver projects across the education, commercial and heritage sectors.
Anthony Mulraney’s team will drive Passivhaus principles
Anthony will work with Hive’s London and Cambridge teams to target specific frameworks across Oxford, where universities are increasingly seeking to achieve net zero ambitions.
The Oxford office will also handle residential and hospitality developments.
Anthony Mulraney is already familiar with Oxford’s construction scene
Anthony joins the group from Qoda, where he led the Oxford office and managed a team of 15 delivering projects up to £30m.
Before this, Anthony developed his skills as a mechanical engineer at Sweco to deliver landmark schemes such as Bloomberg and Coal Drops Yard.
Anthony aims to build a team of M&E experts in Oxford who are driven by sustainable innovation and want to support the preservation and transformation of the city’s heritage and listed buildings.
He will also prioritise building collaborative relationships with local partners, such as the city’s architects and project managers.
Continuing Hive Group’s delivery of Passivhaus principles
The Oxford office will work closely with Hive’s Belfast branch and director Aaron McCarthy, an accredited Passivhaus designer, to meet Oxford University’s desire to employ Passivhaus principles in higher-value assets.

Bringing long lasting sustainability to Oxford’s assets

Hive’s new office is located in Bee House at MEPC’s Milton Park, one of Anthony’s projects with his former company.
