The Skills Centre has acquired Sorted Training to boost its construction commercial training portfolio nationally
The Skills Centre has training centres across London and Birmingham and training programmes in Liverpool and Bristol.
The company works for clients such as OHOB, Laing O’Rourke, HS2, Mace, Wates, Engie, Galldris, Berkley Group, Keltbray, TfL, Fortel, London Square, Morrisroe and Multiplex.
It provides pre-employment training and career support from entry-level to NVQ level 7 across its construction commercial training portfolio.
Sorted Training will help to boost The Skills Centre’s construction commercial training portfolio through its range of health and safety services
Health and Safety training company Sorted Training offers support to employers within the construction industry through Health & Safety training and NVQ assessments.
Sorted Training offers services such as creating policies and reviewing safety equipment, on-site short courses, and offering CSCS / CPCS NVQ to specialist accredited Face fit testing through Qualitative or Quantitative methods.
An additional 225,000 construction workers are needed by 2027
According to the latest Construction Skills Network report, an extra 225,000 construction workers are likely to be needed by 2027.

Gareth Davies has been appointed as commercial director at The Skills Centre
Gareth Davies, founder of Sorted Training, will take the role of commercial director at The Skills Centre.
He started working with The Skills Centre by supporting current contracts and said their ideas aligned about how to support training in the sector.
“With the input of Sorted Training personnel, we will bring the same ethos with an additional customer service and specialist industry knowledge. Most importantly, we can transform lives together and can increase this footprint to help more people.”
