The latest Galliford Try report shows their financial results to 30 June 2024, detailing a strong performance and outlook
The latest Galliford Try report has been published, showing strength in all key financial metrics.
Profit before tax and exceptional items rose by 39.7% to £32.7m, driving shareholder dividends to 15.5p.
Revenue has grown in the latest Galliford Try report
The report shows that revenue has grown across the group to £1.8bn, and average month-end cash is up at £155m.
The groups order book amounts to £3.8bn across chosen sectors, with 92% of FY25 and 70% of FY26 work already being secured.
The latest Galliford Try report also states that the UK’s investment in economic social infrastructure, both planned and required, will support Galliford Try’s chosen markets.
The group has a confident outlook
The UK’s planned investment in construction in housing and infrastructure is giving much of the construction industry, including Galliford Try, a positive outlook for the future.
Galliford Try specifically has been delivering strong results since 2021, to the point that the group has been able to update its Sustainable Growth Strategy targets ahead of the Capital Markets Event in May 2024.
Bill Hocking, chief executive for Galliford Try, said: “We have delivered a strong performance across all operations delivering increased revenue and profit, ahead of analysts’ previous expectations.
“We will continue doing what we said we would do, consistently delivering strong performance – supported by our exceptional teams, a strong balance sheet, solid order book and excellent supply chain and client relationships.”
The latest Galliford Try report’s confident outlook and strong results are further indicated in initiatives and programmes, such as the recent women mentoring scheme, and expansion into other infrastructure features such as EV charging and 5G.
Last year, Galliford Try signed a strategic alliance contract with the Ministry of Defence, along with Morgan Sindall, and signed a contract with the Department of Education to deliver a net zero carbon school in Leicester.
