Balfour Beatty has announced the appointment of Rudolph Wynter as non-executive director starting December
Rudolph Wynter is currently a non-executive director, as well as chair of the Nominating and Corporate Governance Committee, and member of the Audit Committee of EnerSys Inc.
Wynter will take the role of non-executive director at Balfour Beatty on 1 December 2024.
Rudolph Wynter brings a lot of experience
Wynter has spent 35 years in the gas and electricity industry, rising to several leadership and senior operational roles.
This includes the role of president of National Grid New York and chief operation officer at National Grid’s Wholesale Networks & Capital Delivery. In this role he was responsible for the financial, operational and customer-focused performance of the business and managing relationships with regulators, government officials, and communities when delivering energy.
He further has a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Pratt University and a master’s degree in business administration from Fordham University.

Balfour Beatty have recently won contracts across the globe, including for student accomodation in Florida, as well as branching out their technology, such as equipping vehicles with hydrogen fuel technology and human recognition technology.
