Dr Dáithí Downey is a policy analyst at the National Economic & Social Council.
He is a geographer and urbanist with specialist competencies in housing, planning and community development and is the author of a number of peer-reviewed research and analysis publications in urban geography on housing systems, planning and development, community development, inclusion and integration and housing and health.
Dr Downey is a member of the Geographical Society of Ireland and the International Advisory Board for the UK Collaborative Centre for Housing Evidence, and a fellow of the Royal Geographical Society of Britain.
