David Emery is a consultant with the Supply Chain Sustainability School. He leads on the development of the school’s offsite construction and digital construction training resources.
He began his career as an architectural technologist in the 1970s and has worked mostly in the residential sector, designing thousands of new homes; he was an early BIM practitioner and has worked with volumetric modular manufacturer clients on around 50 MMC projects.
He has been a public speaker for around 20 years and has spoken to thousands of attendees about BIM and offsite construction.
In 2024, he was awarded an MSc in Offsite Housing Construction With Distinction from the University of Wolverhampton.
