CAD Floor Plan Services
Having plans for a building is a requirement under Regulation 38 of The Building Regulations for England and Wales, with the purpose of providing fire safety information to the responsible person at the completion of a project or where a building or extension is first occupied. Building plans are necessary for providing fire alarm zone charts, evacuation plans, fire strategy plans and mechanical/electrical drawings.
FIRE SAFETY ACT 2021: REGULATION 6
With the newly implemented Fire Safety Act 2021, a new draft of regulations and requirements have been brought in for residential accommodation blocks of over 2 separate demises or flats.
Regulation 6 of the FSA2021 requires there to be digitised floor plans provided to the local fire service and held on site which show the site layout with access points and service isolation points for gas, electric etc. and internal fire evacuation drawings showing the key fire safety information such as fire fighting stairs and lifts.
We can produce current digitally formatted plans which clearly show all of the relevant information to ensure your premises are compliant with regulation 6 of the FSA2021.
Using the latest software tools, including AutoCAD & Revit, we can update your plans or even create them from scratch with the help of the 30 laser measure.
