Most considerate construction firms revealed in awards

Four construction firms have been awarded the highest honour during the National Company Awards 2015. This saw A-one+ Area 12, Devon Medical Turnkey Solutions, T. A. D. Builders, and Yarlington Property Management receive the “best of the best” Most Considerate Company 2015 Award.

The scheme, which was launched to recognise firms that improved the image of the construction sector, also awarded 20 Gold, 29 Silver, and 46 Bronze awards this year.

This year also saw companies assessed based on turnover, as value bands were introduced for the first time.

Considerate Constructors Scheme chief executive Edward Hardy said: “The Scheme is delighted to recognise the great achievements that the 2015 National Company Award winners have made.

“Over 600 companies register with the Scheme every year and this year’s competition to win an award was tougher than ever – with companies increasing their standards and performance to the next level.

“With such high demand for construction activity across the UK, it’s paramount that the industry works collaboratively and continues to raise standards.”

Among the Gold winners were Devon Medical Turnkey Solutions Ltd; Maxiflow Ltd; Yarlington Property Management; Norriskips & Waste Management; Linfoot Country Homes Ltd; Elev8 Interiors Ltd; Mark James Complete Building Services; Barlow Construction & Renovation Ltd; Penmilne Electrical Contractors Ltd; K & A Construction; Euro Contracts (London) Ltd; Clearly Renovations Ltd; and SSE Contracting.

Silver awards were granted to Glam Security Ltd; Leslie J Thorpe Ltd; A1R Services Ltd; Ciorba Construction Ltd; Safe Property Specialists Ltd; Premier Waste Services (UK) Ltd; Goodwin Building Contractors Ltd; Loughlin Civil Engineering Ltd; Alfred Bagnall & Sons (Restoration) Ltd; Lewis Construction Building Contractors Wales Ltd; Bestbuild Social Enterprise Ltd.

Bronze awards were given to Site One Ltd; Multiflor Ltd; Pilkington Asbestos Removal Services Ltd; City Demolition Contractors (Birmingham) Ltd; Stella Rossa Contractors Ltd; Chamic Industrial Services Ltd; ASW Property Services Ltd; The Industrial Dwellings Society (1885) Ltd; M P M North West Ltd; and ASH Civil Construction.

The Considerate Constructors Scheme was launched in 1997 and continues to improve standards within the construction sector via its Code of Considerate Practice.
