ICE BIM 2016: Looking to the future

1805

2016 is the year industry takes over BIM, and ICE are delighted to welcome industry leaders to their sixth ICE BIM conference on 19 October 2016

Looking to the future of BIM, the conference will offer delegates invaluable insights and opportunity to discuss the progress of BIM development in the UK and abroad.

This year, representing the alliance of cross-industry organisations emerging from, and gathering around the BIM4s and BIM Regions, ICE are delighted to welcome and support the leadership team behind the new drive, including Anne Kemp to the conference, to define and share the vision, mission and activities looking forward.

Dr Anne Kemp provided an update on the work being done by the ICE BIM Action Group at last year’s ICE BIM conference, discussing what the Group is doing to promote best practice in the development of BIM including the efforts of Nathan Baker, Director of Engineering and Knowledge at ICE who is pushing it across the organisation. The collaboration of the ICE BIM Action Group with other organisations was a key part of Kemp’s presentation, highlighting the maturity of the conversation taking place. That collaboration is something which is certain to be reported on in this year’s conference.
