Atkins’ MetroHome arm appoints new director

Atkins has appointed former Morgan Sindall Investments director, Nick Towe as commercial director to drive its development arm, MetroHome

Nick Towe joins Atkins from Morgan Sindall Investments, where he played a key role in forming the Morgan Sindall HB Villages joint venture, rolling out their supported living, extra care and social housing development businesses.

Towe brings 30 years’ experience in the property and development industry, having held positions as land director and managing director for some of the biggest names in UK residential development.

Mark Powell, managing director of MetroHome, said: “Nick’s appointment is significant as we continue to build the capacity of our development arm, MetroHome, in the UK. Nick will play a key role in building strategy and process, with a focus on growth and partnership agreements, funding, commercial risk and project appraisal.”
