Networking at the heart of new built environment event

A new event for the construction industry is to take centre stage on 6 February, as the Built Environment Soiree presents an evening like no other!

On 6 February at the Islington Metal Works in London, the Built Environment Soiree is hosting an evening gala of networking with a difference.

The event is targeted to all from the built environment including manufacturers, contractors, facility managers, engineers, designers, technologists, QS’s, consultants and so on.

Alongside the networking attendees will interact with a wall that crosses the boundaries between the human body, fashion and technology, look up and watch riotous performances that have been described as ‘pure artistry’, or dance the night away with newfound friends.

Pam Bhandal, one of the co-organisers, commented: “Networking and making contacts is central to our industry, businesses and careers.

“A lot of networking is overly formal and can be awkward, or a very limited aspect within costly award ceremonies, conferences and trade shows.

“With this first event, we have put networking at the heart of the evening and arranged unique, effective networking tools and entertainment to encourage and facilitate this.”

Not a typical networking event

Attendees will have a special opportunity to see aerial and multi-disciplinary performance artists who have been described as ‘a work of pure artistry’ and worked with the National Theatre, the Royal Shakespeare Company and others.

The Built Environment Soiree is open to those tired of the typical networking events and who want to effectively network with members of the construction industry, make new important contacts in a helpfully informal but fun environment, and do an additional good deed by raising funds for Mates in Mind then is the event for you.

The Built Environment Soiree is a non-profit event and is raising funds for the Mates in Mind mental health charity.

Tickets include all entertainment, food, music and a selection of drinks. You can get your ticket here: https://builtenvironmentsoiree.co.uk/.
