Dedication, effort and commitment to raising standards

Considerate Constructors Scheme chief executive, Amanda Long, said: “Whilst it has been unfortunate that we were unable to host in-person award ceremonies due to coronavirus, we look forward to seeing how sites will be celebrating their achievements through social media and other communications.

“Achieving any level of CCS National Site Award requires dedication, effort and commitment to raising standards of considerate construction and we are delighted that many CCS-registered sites have achieved the exceptional level of performance in order to receive a National Site Award this year.

“The CCS awards are fundamentally about how the construction industry can achieve more in raising its standards so our local communities, the environment and those that work across the industry receive positive engagement before, during and after a construction project takes place.

“It is about putting the community at the heart of considerate construction, and we look forward to more construction activity performing to such high standards and even higher standards in the future.”
