Modular building supplier, Pickerings has secured a multi-million pound contract to deliver temporary Covid-19 test centres
Modular buildings supplier Pickerings has won the government contract to provide temporary facilities for use as Covid-19 test centres.
Over 200 building modules with related products and services will be delivered and installed on sites nationwide as part of a full turnkey package.
As well as building modules, Pickerings will also be providing the full range of equipment from its Pickerings+ range including groundworks, wi-fi telecommunications, water supply, waste water emptying, fire alarms, generators and fuel management.

Managing director of Pickerings, Neil Moss, commented: “We are very pleased to be supporting the NHS and helping the nation’s fight against the Covid-19 pandemic.
“We will be supplying building solutions from all our depots and supporting local communities across the country.
“This contract shows the flexibility our modular buildings provide in meeting a variety of uses as well as our ability to respond quickly to immediate requirements.”
The temporary testing facilities will be ready to use within weeks.
