FTSE 100 listed housebuilder Persimmon Homes has appointed Madi Pilgrim as its first director of talent and diversity
Madi Pilgrim will have a remit to develop a clear process for reviewing talent and identifying potential, providing development support and creating opportunities for career progression.
Pilgrim has an extensive background in HR and talent management gained over two decades with bus, coach, train and tram operator National Express. She is a chartered member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development and an accredited internal coach.

“Construction is a very fast-paced industry and Persimmon Homes already has a proven record in developing its employees,” she said.
“This role is an opportunity to build on that by implementing new strategies and approaches to harness the great talent we have and ensure our people reflect our customer base and the communities in which we build.

Founded in 1972, Persimmon Homes builds over 16,000 homes a year, operating from 31 regional offices. The company currently employs more than 5,000 people and supports around 86,000 jobs in the construction sector.
