A recent convert to Actis Hybrid has won a £100 gift card in a prize draw held as part of an activity aimed at encouraging more construction professionals to learn about the company’s insulation products
Builder Shane Goodson from Shane Goodson Driveways was presented with a Virgin Experience voucher by Actis area sales manager Louise South when he popped into Jewson Scunthorpe to talk to its branch manager Ryan Hudson.
Goodson was one of dozens whose name was automatically entered into the Actis prize draw when he signed up to the bi-monthly Actis e-newsletter, which shares industry news and insight, case studies, product and service information, offers and competitions with its readers.
The prize draw was one of the activities Actis provided on a stand at Jewson‘s 130-mile Monster Walk earlier this summer, which saw the merchants raise £30,000 for charity.
Hybris Challenge
The competition ran alongside the popular Hybris Challenge, which encouraged the Jewson team, customers and passers-by to try their hands at installing Hybris into a mock timber frame while learning about the benefits of the Hybrid range.
Shane, whose company also carries out general construction work and builds extensions, said he has now switched from PIR board to Actis Hybris, one of the products in the range, after learning about its thermal, ease-of-use and cost-saving benefits.
He says he is using Hybris for the first time on a large extension because it is easy to install, very clean and works out much more cost-effective overall than traditional insulation.
Louise South added: “We are of course very excited that Shane realised it was time to make the change to Actis.”
