The Association for Project Management (APM) has launched a new tool to support members plan, track and reflect every stage of their development
The online tool for recording activities undertaken joins a range of revitalised Continuing Professional Development (CPD) guidance and advice accessible to both members and non-members.
Titled ‘My CPD’, the launch builds on APM’s commitment to supporting the profession’s critical ongoing development to stay ahead of the growing demand and complexity of projects.
This latest approach focuses on the importance of reflecting on development undertaken and welcomes more transparent guidance aimed at creating an accessible programme for individuals to develop against.
APM’s range of resources and events will continue to provide a wide variety of opportunities to underpin the profession’s CPD demand.
‘Stay ahead of the curve’
Members who previously used APM’s previous tool, My Development, will have all entries transferred across.
APM’s director of education and lifelong learning, Jackie Martin, said: “The profession has proven over the last year how resilient and adaptive it is.
“That is only made possible by individuals leading the way in their development and challenging themselves to stay ahead of the curve.
“As the profession’s chartered body, we must maintain a leading CPD offering that’s both accessible and forward-looking. Today’s launch cements that ambition.”
