Opened in 2016 at a cost of £42m and designed by Associated Architects of Birmingham, the George Davies Centre (formerly the Centre for Medicine) at the University of Leicester is also the UK’s largest non-residential Passivhaus building and the largest investment in medical teaching and applied research by any UK university in the last decade.
Everdure Caltite was used to waterproof the below ground structure. The structural engineers were Ramboll, main contractor Willmott Dixon and concrete contractor Metropolitan Developer.
Faculty of Arts, Design and Media at Birmingham City University
Opened in 2014 and designed by Associated Architects, Everdure Caltite was used to waterproof the below ground structure. The structural engineers were Ramboll, main contractor Willmott Dixon and concrete contractor MPB Structures.
The Saïd Business Centre, University of Oxford
Designed by architects Dixon Jones, Everdure Caltite was used to waterproof the underground lecture theatre. The structural engineers were Whitbybird (now Ramboll), main contractor Laing O’Rourke and concrete contractor Sheehan Construction.

Lincoln College, Oxford
In 1998, Everdure Caltite was used to waterproof the basement to the extension to the college and then in 1999, in the new Garden Building Arts Centre and again in 2013 to the extension to the Arts Centre.
