Ellie is a fifth-generation member of the Bagnalls family. She joined the company in 2011 as management development coordinator.
Ellie oversees Bagnalls award-winning apprenticeship programme for around 80 employees. Naturally, many of these are painting and decorating apprentices, as well as all management trainees. Ellie’s promotion of apprenticeships has increased the recruitment of apprentices across the group in support services such as sales, administration and IT. She regularly works with colleagues to identify future talent and nominates apprentices for awards, resulting in numerous individual wins.
Ellie sits on the Education & Training Committee of Bagnalls’ trade body, the Painting & Decorating Association (PDA). She also represents the company as a multi-regional employer of the Apprentice Ambassador Network.
