BIM accreditations

The digital construction team at Graham has successfully retained its BS EN ISO 19650 (construction) and PAS 1192-3 (asset management) accreditations

To achieve the BIM accreditations, significant changes to the ISO 19650 guidelines had to be incorporated into Graham’s BIM processes.

Thanks to these changes, the external auditor recognised this work as well as its in house capability to deliver BIM projects for its clients.

ISO 19650-2 has now replaced PAS1192-2 for construction, and Graham is now seeing more and more clients demanding ISO 19650.

Investment in solutions and digital construction

Only a small number of contractors in the UK hold this dual BIM accreditation.

While the fundamentals remain the same as PAS1192-2 there is a greater emphasis on information management.

Graham has developed a number of initiatives, particularly in the area of 4D.

Looking forward, Graham will be embarking on a programme to further enhance its BIM offering, investing in solutions and technology to provide better guidance, training and internal auditing around BIM.

A spokesperson for Graham, said: “We are determined to not only meet the standard, but also to push the boundaries where there are clear benefits to Graham and our clients.”
