J. Murphy & Sons has hired new heads to take the lead on BIM and estimating
J. Murphy & Sons has announced two new additions to its senior management team. This forms part of the company’s plan to double its turnover to £2bn by 2025.
The firm revealed Alex Jones will join as group head of BIM and digital construction. Jones previously worked at Interserve Construction as national BIM and digital construction manager.
Jones will work with the existing in-house team to ensure the business is utilising BIM across all its dealings.
Gary Broadley will join the firm from MWH Treatment as group head of estimating. His work history includes major construction firms Balfour Beatty, Morgan Sindall, and AMEC.
Broadley will be based at the office in Golborne and will report to Chris Green. Green will also join Murphy from Capita as the new commercial director
