New website launched for BIM Regions

BIM Regions has revealed its new website, which aims to reach out to the industry and drive the BIM agenda…

A new website has been launched by BIM Regions. The organisation, which was set up in partnership with the Construction Industry Council and the BIM Task Group in 2012, revealed the site on 1 June.

BIM Regions was developed to support the UK BIM programme and hopes the new website will help to develop collaboration and greater engagement with industry experts across the sector.

The site includes a list of all the Regional Hubs across the UK and Ireland. It also comprises of details of the organisation’s BIM Champions, as well as information on upcoming events, resources, and information on the BIM4 Community.

John Eynon, chair of BIM Regions commented on the launch. He said: “This site was created as a unified voice for the Regional Hubs across the UK and Ireland, where we aim to bring the community together.

“It is a resource for the industry by the industry.”
