International AEC software developer ACCA software has released a new version of Edificius, the 3D building design software, with interesting features
Edificius BIM 3(k), the 3d building design software, is enhanced with lots of new functionalities.
New 3d building design software features
- Irregular vaults: more freedom in the modeling process, even for the new “pavilion” typology.
- Point Cloud: performance improvement for import, management and viewing capabilities like, for example, setting the level of detail according to the point cloud complexity or detecting a greater number of points.
- Optimization of material texture management with a consequently significant reduction of the project file size and of the saving process time.
Improved BIM library in the coming months
The new texture management and optimization are only the first of many upcoming improvements that will also include the BIM objects library.
In the coming months, a general reorganisation of the library will see the launch of a cloud-based version with even better cloud integration.
