Discover how FlowForma mobile processes can improve construction site productivity and transparency in this webinar

In a recent webinar hosted by FlowForma, Lampros Arvanitis, BIM manager at CVB (joint venture of Costain, VINCI Construction Grands Projects and Bachy Soletanche building the east section of the Thames Tideway Tunnel), showcased how this project has improved productivity and visibility with mobile processes across a challenging environment.

Thames Tideway Tunnel project processes

Lampros and his team undertook the biggest infrastructure project ever undertaken by the UK water industry – the Thames Tideway Tunnel. The tunnel is 25km in length spanning from West London to East London, underneath the entirety of London City centre.

Paperwork across such a vast site can be a real challenge. Furthermore, with information incorrectly completed, delays can easily happen and incur additional costs as a result.

Offline access to processes is another challenge construction companies face while working in disparate and remote locations with little or no internet connectivity. The Tideway East Project was no different, being so far below ground level.

Construction firms and joint ventures are turning to process automation to eradicate these common bottlenecks and pain points. By digitizing their business processes, Lampros and his colleagues were empowered to work smarter and more efficiently whilst working remotely during the COVID-19 pandemic.
