A construction site in Scotland has reported a fatality, after an employee died earlier this week while sustaining injuries at the Blackhillock substation
An incident at a construction site in Scotland has led to the death of a worker.
According to reports John Cameron, 61, was killed during an incident at Blackhillock in Moray on 28 October.
Cameron was working for construction firm BAM Nuttall on new substations in the area when the incident occurred.
HSE to investigate the incident
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said officers were working with the Health and Safety Executive to determine what happened.
BAM Nuttall’s chief executive Stephen Fox said: “Our thoughts and deepest condolences go out to all of the family, friends and colleagues of our employee, who was involved in this tragic incident.
“We are working closely with all relevant agencies and authorities and a full investigation is under way.”
