Jacobs has appointed Adam Street as vice president for digital solutions, responsible for the company’s digital offering and growth strategy across its Buildings and Infrastructure business in the UK and Europe

The offering forms a crucial part of Jacobs’ new strategic direction in the UK and Europe which supports the company’s global strategy, unveiled in February 2019, to deliver digitally-enabled, sustainable solutions for critical, global infrastructure challenges and government priorities.

Donald Morrison, Jacobs Buildings and Infrastructure Europe senior vice president and general manager, said: “Through our deep domain engineering expertise, global insights and breadth of digital technology capabilities, we develop and deliver sustainable solutions to drive better outcomes for both our clients and their customers.

“Adam will lead our digital strategy as we look to bring fresh solutions to life and help our clients realise all the benefits that new digital approaches have to offer.”

Adam Street added: “With the rapid change in the cost of digital technology, we are now able to solve customers’ challenges in a different way. By applying our domain expertise with the latest data, machine learning and visualisation technologies we can bring simplicity to complex problems and deliver more complete, higher value solutions.”

Based in Jacobs’ Cotton Centre London office, Street joins from SNC-Lavalin Atkins where he was the commercial director for digital, responsible for developing and executing a digital product and solution strategy.
