Anil Rai joins Galliford Try’s Asset Intelligence team as commercial director, bringing experience in both telecommunications and construction

Galliford Try’s Asset Intelligence business has appointed Anil Rai as its new commercial director, bolstering its leadership team as it seeks to take advantage of growth opportunities.

Anil Rai has nearly a decade of experience in the construction and telecommunications sectors, having previously worked for HS2 and Amey plc, and most recently operating as commercial director for Svella Connect, a leading Tier 1 telecommunications contractor.

Anil is a member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS) and an associate member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (ACIArb).

He joins the business at an exciting time for its future, with ambitious growth plans backed by key framework appointments.

After Galliford Try acquired nmcn water last year, they gained 50 specialist security designers, installers, commissioning specialists and management. The firm’s Security and Active Fire departments were streamlined into Asset Intelligence, a business led by Uzair Osman.
