Bola Abisogun OBE has joined BIM Academy to establish strong business links with both UK and international clients in the role of digital director
BIM Academy has selected Bola Abisogun OBE as its new digital director.
Bola joins a team of strategists, researchers, and innovators, working to meet global challenges in digital asset information management.

Bola is a qualified and experienced chartered quantity surveyor bringing with him over thirty years of expertise in construction cost management, BIM, and digital construction methodologies.
In 1994 he articulated his first ‘process level’ digital twin, founded in BIM-enabled workflows, premised upon the ‘ontology of data’.
In 1998, he began to champion the project delivery benefits of BIM in the Surveying profession, which culminated in several sector-wide discussions and several insight papers.
More recently, Bola completed a 32-month sabbatical at the Centre for Digital Built Britain (CDBB), with his body of work and digital twin use-case arising from his appointment onto the Gemini Council, whose remit was to produce the over-arching legacy the CDBB / Gemini Papers.
Creating growth in BIM and the AEC industry
