The Considerate Constructors Scheme (CCS) aims to promote and achieve best practice within the construction industry under the Scheme’s Code of Practice.
Interserve Construction was awarded a Gold Considerate Constructors Scheme site award for its work with the University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust for “demonstrating an outstanding commitment to improving the image of construction and achieving exemplary standards in all areas of the Scheme’s Code of Practice”.
The award was received on behalf of Interserve Construction by Neil Holland, senior project manager, Keith Robinson, senior site manager and Nick Parish, site manager.
Holland said: “On behalf of the team working on the redevelopment of Leicester Royal Infirmary’s emergency department, we are delighted to receive this award which recognises Interserve’s commitment to considerate construction while delivering real value to our customers in the health sector.
“Crucially, the redevelopment of the hospital’s accident and emergency was delivered with minimal disruption to staff and patients and was completed on time and to budget.”
