Developing Lean Expertise – a Lean Construction Training Day will be held on 28th October 2015 at Birmingham Metropolitan College (from 08.45 to 17.00)

The Lean Construction Institute UK (LCI-UK) will this year, for the first time, be offering a Lean Construction Training Day, for anyone who would like to learn more about implementing Lean in the construction and infrastructure sectors.

Workshops will be offered by experienced lean construction practitioners on the following themes:

Introduction to Lean Construction
Collaborative Planning
Creating High Performance Teams
Driving a Productivity Agenda through Lean Deployment
Lean Design Delivery
Embedding Lean Thinking & Developing a Culture of Continuous Improvement
Value Stream Mapping
The Improvement Kata
Lean & Advanced BIM
Visual Management

The stress in all the workshops will be on the practical application of Lean, and each facilitator will share case studies and examples from the field. The workshops will be interactive and focus on equipping you with tips, ideas and starting points for introducing or implementing Lean more comprehensively across your organisation and supply chain.

If you are a Lean novice we recommend that you select the workshops Introduction to Lean Construction 1 & 2.

If you already have some grasp of Lean and would like to increase your knowledge and experience in specific aspects then there is a wide range of workshops to choose from.
