Colas is pleased to announce that Faïçal Lahmamsi has been appointed as chief executive officer
Faïçal Lahmamsi joined the Colas Group in 2022 and then went on to join Colas in the UK in March 2019 as executive director.
As executive director, Lahmamsi lead the National and Regional Operations including highways projects, aviation, asset management and other specialist processes. In 2020 this was extended to include industrial activities through quarrying activity and the bituminous products business.
‘Considerable operational experience’
Lahmamsi has over 26 years of experience in the transport industry at a senior level and a proven track record of growing sustainable businesses with Colas in Morocco.
Commenting on his appointment, Faïçal said: “These are exciting times for us at Colas.
“With ambitious plans for future growth, I am looking forward to leading the organisation in this and collaborating with our clients, partners and suppliers to develop innovative approaches and use the group expertise to provide solutions for decarbonisation.”
