NHBC appoints new regional director for the East

NHBC has appointed James Griffin as its new regional director to lead customer relations with builder clients in the East of England

James Griffin, who has been with NHBC for 15 years, has a wealth of technical knowledge and customer relationship management experience.

He has held a number of roles in claims and inspection, most recently as inspection manager for the quality team.

He will be succeeding Richard Hartshorn who is retiring at the end of this year after more than 35 years with NHBC.

‘Building confidence in the construction quality of new homes’

NHBC commercial director David Campbell, said: “We are delighted to welcome James to the regional directors’ team to lead customer relations with our builder clients in the East.

“He brings a wealth of experience and commercial acumen to the role, having worked across NHBC in a number of key roles over the last 15 years.

“He will work with builder clients to pursue our core purpose of building confidence in the construction quality of new homes.

“I would also like to wholeheartedly thank Richard Hartshorn for his outstanding contribution to NHBC over the last 35 years.

“I have no doubt he will be much missed by colleagues and clients alike and wish him all the very best for a happy and healthy retirement.”

James Griffin will take up his new role on 1 December 2021.
