Kier has announced that it is hosting its first in-person construction recruitment day of 2022 in the West Midlands, as it looks to fill over 100 job vacancies
The construction recruitment day, held on 5 April 2022, is advertising for jobs available – from site operatives, project managers, quantity surveyors, engineers, and estimators, amongst others.
Attendees of the construction recruitment day will be able to have an informal chat with representatives from Kier about the roles available, get an understanding of projects that Kier are working on across the West Midlands, and beyond.
The event takes place at the Holiday Inn Kenilworth, Warwick on Tuesday 5 April, between 15:00 – 20:00.
Providing local construction jobs for the West Midlands area
Amrit Sandhu, senior recruiter for Kier Infrastructure commented: “We’re excited to be hosting this in-person recruitment day as we look to provide local jobs for the projects we are delivering in and around the West Midlands.
“We have a longstanding footprint in the West Midlands and it remains an area of importance to us and that’s why we looking to recruit over 100 people to help us deliver vital infrastructure.
“We’ll have a team of people on hand to discuss people’s aspirations and to answer any questions that they may have.”
The event forms part of a nationwide recruitment drive, with over 1,200 roles available across Kier, helping the construction business to achieve its ambitions to bring a new generation of talent into the industry.
Kier has also introduced a range of industry-leading policies to support its people, including extending its maternity, paternity and shared parental leave, as well as providing paid leave to anyone who experiences pregnancy loss and new measures to support those going through the menopause.
