Amey Consulting appoints Laurence Green as its new Head of Major Bridges & Structures for its Highways & Property business
In his new role, Laurence Green will be responsible for leading Amey Consulting’s design and asset management across some of the UK’s most iconic civil engineering structures and bridges.
His career of 20 years has focused on the design and remediation, including electrochemical remediation, on almost all types of highway and railway bridge structures.
He has previously held senior roles at Aecom and Kier.
Bridge management software developer
Green was the original developer of the international leading bridge management software, AMX (formerly BMX), which now manages 750,000 structures worldwide.
He is a Fellow, reviewer and expert panel member with the Institution of Civil Engineers and holds a Doctorate in the repair of concrete bridges.
Green will also focus on further combining Amey Consulting’s expertise in traditional design and asset management with its specialist data and analytics platforms – Pearl and Mercury.
