Affordable housing specialist Living Space has made a trio of in-house appointments, prior to a number of new site starts
The trio of in-house appointments include Nikita Chavda, who has been appointed as the new design and planning coordinator, alongside Katharine Lawrance, who has been recruited as an assistant land manager, and Christina Haycock joins as an administrator.
Strengthening key departments within the business
Paul Breen, managing director of Living Space commented: “It’s great to welcome Nikita, Kat and Chris to the team at this time.
“While four of our affordable housing developments are nearing completion, preparations are being made on multiple new site starts, planning applications, and land acquisitions.
“These three new positions have been planned to strengthen two key departments within the business, and provide support across the board with Chris being recruited as our administrator.
Nikita Chavda has joined Living Space’s in-house technical team from Taylor Wimpey West Midlands, where she was a design and planning executive.
Prior to that she was an Architectural Designer for Bovis Homes. She has nine years’ experience in the housebuilding industry and is skilled at managing large and complex sites through the residential planning process.
Katharine Lawrance joined the land team from Cornwall-based Bunny Homes, where she was a land and planning assistant.
She possesses valuable experience in land acquisition, viability appraisals, and negotiations with landowners, promoters, land agents and Registered Providers (RPs).
Christina Haycock joins from Countryside Properties UK Ltd, where she was a commercial/technical administrator. Prior to that she carried out the same role for Keepmoat Homes, where she was based for 10 years.
