Martin Pitt has been appointed new group commercial director of the UK’s largest independent engineering and services business NG Bailey and will start his role on the 4th January 2022
Having enjoyed a successful career in the construction industry Martin’s most recent role was as commercial director for the Balfour Beatty Vinci Joint Venture on HS2.
Other work experience includes group commercial director for both Sir Robert McAlpine and Morgan Sindall.
New beginnings
Martin has made the following comment about his new role as group commercial director at NG Bailey:
“I’m looking forward to starting the new year with NG Bailey and playing a part in the continued development of the business.”
Developing strategy
It is hoped that the new group commercial director will help to facilitate NG Bailey’s latest growth strategy to delivers a series of large-scale innovative projects across diverse sectors including infrastructure, technology and decarbonisation.
Chief executive David Hurcomb explained:
