Eloise Francis announced as new BRE director of innovation

Eloise Francis has been appointed as new BRE director of innovation to drive research, innovation and technical excellence at the Building Research Establishment (BRE)

Eloise Francis has been appointed as new BRE director of innovation to support the group in leading the industry to develop innovative science-led solutions for built environment challenges.

Francis has extensive experience in leading change in diverse technical teams across engineering, real estate, property management, and construction projects.

She has played a key role in leading the construction and property sector in its approach to health, safety and wellbeing, and more recently, enterprise risk and sustainability.

Francis also brings extensive board experience having sat on a number of key industry forums and previously held roles at Capita, Mace, Royal Mail, and Legal & General.

Decarbonising and improving the safety of the built environment

Eloise Francis said: “I am incredibly excited to be joining BRE and to be contributing to the important work the organisation is leading on, particularly when it comes to decarbonising and improving the safety of the built environment.

“I am looking forward to playing a leading role in demonstrating how BRE can contribute to what is a crucial time for many areas of construction and the built environment.”
