Paul Griffin has been appointed as a commercial director on the board of Wates Construction Group

Paul Griffin joins the Wates Construction Group after over 20 years in the industry.
His career began at Wates as a commercial trainee, rising through the ranks before spending four years in the development sector.

Paul joins the board at a time of growth for Wates

His experience spans multiple strategic sectors including private residential, education, commercial, refurbishment and heritage builds, with his prior roles in the development sector bringing a clear understanding of client requirements.

His role on the Construction Group Board will see Paul play a vital role in leading Wates’ commercial function as a business and driving output on some of its largest and most exciting schemes, including gigafactory Envision in Sunderland, and work on the Parliamentary Northern Estate Programme.

Bolstering Wates’ customer and commercial offerings
