Persimmon Homes has further strengthened its land and planning team by appointing an experienced land manager and a development control planner

The new land and planning team consists of Anna Barrett, who joins from Bugler Group, and Lucy Ormrod from Bracknell Forest Borough Council.

Anna Barrett has a wealth of contacts and experience from across the country, and is set to focus on land opportunities in areas such as Hitchin, Hemel Hempsted, and Watford.

Homes delivered through vision and values

Barrett commented: “This is such an exciting time to be joining the North London office. There are huge opportunities ahead of us, and I am very much looking forward to being at the forefront of a job I love and facing new challenges.

“I’m so pleased to be joining the company at this time, when Persimmon’s ambitions to be Britain’s leading home builder is being delivered through vision and values and with people in mind, not profit.”

Lucy Ormrod began her career as a graduate planner in 2019, before joining Bracknell Forest Borough Council as Planning Officer in 2020.

‘An exciting time to have joined the company’

Lucy commented: “My experience at Persimmon Homes so far has been a very positive one.

“I’ve been working on some major developments and it feels like a very exciting time to have joined the company as the Land and Planning department continues to grow, and with Persimmon having been announced as a five-star house builder.

“The company offers a great career pathway which I envisage myself following in the years to come, and I’m looking forward to working on a variety of different projects and being part of Persimmon’s exciting plans going forward.”
